Teaching and performing seamlessly intertwine in Carlos Ferrer's career. In addition to a vibrant concert schedule, he holds faculty positions at both the Musikhochschule Münster and the Westfälische Schule für Musik. Dedicated to nurturing talent at every level, Carlos coaches private students, chamber groups, and masterclass participants, guiding them from their initial steps in music through to higher education and professional artistry.

Individual Lessons

Individual cello lessons in Münster or online, tailored to each student's level, goals and artistic development, from the first steps at the instrument to advanced study.

University Preparation

Focused preparation for entrance examinations at universities of music and conservatoires, including technical refinement, repertoire selection and artistic development.

Masterclasses

Intensive individual and group coaching for music schools, universities, festivals and other educational institutions.

Chamber Music

Coaching for chamber ensembles with a focus on listening, communication, ensemble playing and shared musical interpretation.

Teaching philosophy

Carlos' teaching philosophy is rooted in two distinct musical traditions: the community-driven values of Venezuela's El Sistema and his extensive artistic and pedagogical experience in Germany. For Carlos, music is not only about technical excellence, but also serves as a vital space for communication, collaboration, and personal growth.
